Title: The 77
Post by: 94touring on April 04, 2009, 05:20:06 PM
Its ashame I don't have all the hundreds of pictures and descriptions for this car anymore.  I remember it took something like 260 hours of work.  Came out looking like a million bucks.

I really like the screw driver sticking out of the left fender. Was there an adjustment screw of some type there at one time or another? :D

Glad you noticed that.  ;D  I test for rust by stabbing with a phillips head!

I can remeber the screwdriver bein an integral part of the Inspectors tool box in the garages in Germany when I was stationed there in the 80s. I can't tell you how many patches were made for rotten floor boards, just to get another year of drive time out of those cars. Many GI s learned how to weld in those days for the first time.  8)
