Post by: tsumini on June 05, 2019, 11:09:27 AM
Anyone need a complete 850 engine? SN 8AM-U-H571017. magic wand gearbox.   Bores are standard. My brother mic'd it and said it could stay standard size with aa hone. He bulit my engine in my '60 project car and expert. I have a set of standard size rings which I had a helluva time finding. ( found 2 this is the spare set.).
If anyone is going to Aspen for Mini Meet West in Aspen it could be on the way depending on where you're coming from. It's now in South Fork Colorado (south centrral )( 180 miles south).

Well, for someone who already has an 850, and plenty of room to store it, I think it should be worth $50 either as a rebuildable core or as a spare, or even possibly a future hard to find part for someone that needs it.

The smallest I would ever use is a 998, so it's really of no value to me......

Whee,
Nice meeting you also and your fleet of minis. They were superb.
Thanks for the donation. $50 is fair. The gearbox I believe is excellent.
