The 2019 TxABCD in Round Rock, Texas is fast approaching. It runs September 27, 28 and 29.
I hope to see some of you there. (I am volunteering on the staff and will likely be assisting the registration tables.)

(Sorry for the late posting.)
Thanks for the invite, but I'll going to the CMU 60 in Virginia the week after that, and I have tons to do to get ready for it. Hope it's a great show - we had a few more cars this year for our All British show, and a better variety of marques too.
I plan to attend this year. Thanks for the reminder Michael.
You'll be a little closer this year. No cruising down the interstate at 3 in the morning.

haha
Yes, that was my strategy to avoid the heat of the day on the way home. But it put me right into the morning rush hour as I approached Dallas. That was fun. :-[
It was a couple of hours drive this morning in the misting rain, but now the sun is out and so are the Minis. All Mk III cars and up except for one Mk I Cooper S from Oz.
And a Mk II Cooper just showed up.
And the Queen has arrived in a Mk I.
Plus Michael's car too.
Ha! You can't escape the lens..... ;D
You are an Interwebs sleuth!
Nah, just looking at some pics of the event posted by someone on Facetube, and saw you guys..... 77.gif
Bruce, did you try on Michael's Marcos? I'd be interested to hear what you thought of those seats.
I don't think Bruce tried out the seats. At least he did not when I was at the car with him.
I spent most of the day helping with the registration tables. I was part of the event staff this year.
I'm sure the little car felt neglected for not having its owner nearby to show it off.

No, I would never try climbing into someone's car without their permission. When Michael was giving me a tour of the car - the photos- I was thinking of asking about trying it and then Michael said that he barely fits in with his head was almost touching the roof. So that sealed it.
Also, the Mini Marcos roof is about 6 - 8 inches shorter than a regular Mini.
The seats I now have in it are recliners and on sliders, so they can accommodate different driver sizes. Also, being new seats the foam bases have not begun to settle much.
Found a couple more pics of our forum members from the Texas show! 77.gif
Those are from the "staff photographer". As folks were setting up, he was going around trying to get pictures of owners with their cars.
